I am thrilled to share with you the latest updates on the incredible journey of Koinonia's Media Team and the profound impact it has had on lives through sharing the Good News.
Amid the challenges of the global pandemic in 2020, our churches faced unprecedented lockdowns. However, at Koinonia, we embraced innovation and birthed our Media Team to stay connected with our congregation.
Starting with just a webcam, phone, and laptop, our Media Team has grown exponentially, now equipped with fantastic streaming equipment. The reach of our ministry has extended beyond borders, touching lives in Belize, Central America, and most recently, Africa.
One remarkable testament to God's work through our ministry is the establishment of a satellite church in San Pedro Colombia, the southernmost district of Belize. A family discovered our stream, leading to their collective acceptance of Christ and subsequent reconciliation. As we guided them through counseling and encouraged them to join a local church, the need for kids and youth-focused congregations became apparent. This realization gave birth to a satellite church that now welcomes 15 youths every Friday and Sunday, along with 20 kids every Saturday and Sunday.
Our Media Team has also played a vital role in streaming large events in our hometown, including the Christafari tour, Jesus Fest, and local school graduations – all provided free of charge to bless our community.
As we enter 2024, we aspire to continue advancing and expanding our ministry. To achieve this, we are seeking your support and prayers to enhance our media equipment with complementary tools. Our focus areas for improvement this year include Recording, Church's Audio, Streaming, and Software.
Recording
🎬 Recording Adventures for Koinonia Kids Program! 🌟
We are thrilled to share the incredible journey of our recording endeavors for the Koinonia Kids Program. Every Wednesday, we passionately create two videos in both Spanish and English, pouring our creativity into captivating content for the delightful kids in Belize.
Our reach has extended to five areas within Belize – Palmar, Chan Pine Ridge, Trail Farm, Belize City, and San Pedro Colombia. But it doesn't stop there; we've been joyfully followed in Central American regions like Guatemala and El Salvador.
However, our creative process has encountered a challenge – lighting. The editing phase has become a bit tricky due to lighting issues, hindering us from delivering the best quality content. To overcome this, we are seeking your support to acquire studio lights.

We hold our worship space dear and believe in offering our very best in praise and worship. Thanks to your incredible support, we've invested in a top-notch sound system featuring 4 JBL speakers for an immersive worship experience.
However, our pursuit of excellence doesn't end here, and we need your support once again to elevate our audio setup. Currently, we're in need of a Bass speaker to complement our sound and bring a fuller, richer worship experience. Additionally, we aim to provide dedicated microphones for each service leader, eliminating the need to share mics between speakers.
